Privacy Policy — Speaker Cleaner: Water Eject

Speaker Cleaner: Water Eject ("the app") is developed by Krillo ("we", "us"). This policy explains what data the app handles. The short version: everything the app does — cleaning cycles, tones, sound-level readings — happens on your device and stays there. The only data that leaves it is what is needed to run subscriptions and anonymous usage statistics.

What stays on your device

• the sound-level (dB) numbers shown on the meter screen — the readings themselves;
• your previous volume level, saved briefly so the app can restore it after a cleaning cycle;
• everything the microphone picks up (see Microphone below).

None of this leaves your phone, and it is deleted when you uninstall the app.

What is sent as anonymous statistics

Which settings you chose — the length and mode of a cleaning cycle, the tone frequency, that a measurement was taken and which one it was in the session, which speaker was tested. Numbers and settings only: no audio, and never the dB readings themselves. See Analytics below for what this is used for.

The app has no account or sign-up, does not use GPS or any precise location, and does not access your contacts, photos or files. We ask PostHog to discard IP addresses, so we do not derive your location from them either.

Microphone

The dB Meter screen uses the microphone to measure the loudness around you. The measurement is computed on the device in real time and shown on screen. Audio is never recorded, never stored and never transmitted anywhere. The microphone is used only while a measurement is running and only after you grant the permission; every other part of the app works without it.

Subscription data

Purchases are sold and processed by Google Play. We never see or store your payment details.

To show the correct prices and to know whether your purchase is active, the app uses RevenueCat, a subscription-management service. When the app runs, RevenueCat receives:

• a randomly generated anonymous app user ID (it is not your name, email or Google account, and we cannot use it to identify you);
• your Google Play purchase receipt and subscription status, if you subscribe;
• basic technical details needed to serve the right offer: app version, device model, OS version, country and language.

We use this only to unlock Pro on your device, to restore purchases, and to see anonymous, aggregated sales numbers. We do not sell this data and do not use it for advertising. RevenueCat processes it on our behalf — see RevenueCat's privacy policy and Google's privacy policy. You can ask us to delete your subscription record at the contact address below; note that this does not cancel a subscription — cancel it in Google Play.

Permissions

• Microphone (RECORD_AUDIO) — sound-level measurement on the dB Meter screen only, as described above.
• Internet / network state — to load prices and check purchase status.
• Billing — to let Google Play process a purchase.

Third-party services

The app includes RevenueCat and Google Play Billing, both used solely for purchases as described above.

The app contains no advertising SDKs. For product analytics it uses PostHog, described in the next section. The app's Play Store data-safety label will always match what the app actually does.

Analytics

The app uses PostHog to understand how it is used — for example, how often a cleaning cycle is started and finished, or on which screen an error appears. Analytics data is stored on servers in the European Union.

These events are linked to the same anonymous identifier used for subscriptions. They are not linked to your name, email, phone number or location, and the app still has no account or sign-up.

Each event also carries the same kind of basic technical details listed above for subscriptions: app version, build number, platform, whether you are on a free, trial or paid plan (including a payment-issue grace period), how many days ago the app was installed, the date of installation and the app version you first installed, your device language and the language the app is shown in, how many upgrade screens you have seen so far, and which app and build type the event came from. If you arrived from an ad or a link, the event also carries which campaign and which creative brought you to the app, or simply that the install was organic; this is a marketing label, not an identifier for you or your device. The analytics library adds a few standard technical properties of its own: your device manufacturer, model and type, the name and version of your operating system, your screen size and density, whether the app is running on an emulator, the version of the library itself, and an identifier for the current session. If the app hits an unexpected error we also send the type of that error and the screen it happened on, never its text. No IP address is stored: we ask PostHog to discard it, so no location is derived from it, and the same applies to your time zone, network details and device name — they are removed before the event is saved. That is the whole list — nothing else travels with an event.

If you arrived from an ad, Google Play passes the app the campaign tag we used when we bought that ad, and the app stores it with your usage statistics. It tells us which campaign brought you to Eject, and because we name our campaigns after the country and channel we bought them in, it also tells us which audience we were aiming at. It is not an advertising identifier, it is not your location, and it says nothing about you personally.

Audio is never part of this. Microphone input is processed on your device in real time and is never recorded, stored or transmitted — analytics included.

Subscription events — when a trial starts, converts, renews or is cancelled — are also passed from RevenueCat to our analytics service under the same anonymous ID, so we can see how many people the app converts. They carry the product, the price and the store, never your payment details.

We use this data only to fix problems and decide what to build next. It is not sold and not used for advertising. To request deletion of the data linked to your identifier, contact support@krillo.dev.

Purchases and cancellation

The weekly plan starts with a 3-day free trial; you are not charged until the trial ends. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. The lifetime plan is a one-time purchase and never renews. You can cancel a subscription anytime in Google Play → Subscriptions. Uninstalling the app does not cancel a subscription — cancel it in Google Play. Children

The app is a general-audience utility and does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children.
